CARES Teams 

The CARES program is a proven resident retention program. Apartment Life recruits, trains and manages onsite CARES Teams (married couple/family or two single adults) to assist management in building community and serving residents. CARES Teams recognize that residents want more than just a place to live - they want a community of friends, a place to belong, and a caring touch. CARES Teams are neighbors who make an apartment a home!

We Care
Community means having neighbors who care. Occasionally life throws residents a curve, and they need a helping hand or just a listening ear. In times of need, your CARES Team is like family, ready to help.		 mgmtsupport.jpg

Community is about relationships. In this fast-paced world, it is sometimes difficult to build new friendships. Your CARES Team helps residents feel connected to your community and meet new people. It's like an old-fashioned "welcome wagon" when they move in!
Having Fun
Community is about having fun with people you enjoy being around. Your CARES Team plans social events that keep everyone involved. Whatever their passion, CARES helps residents connect with like-minded neighbors.		 poolvolley.jpg

Community is not just about being served...it's also about giving. Your CARES Team provides opportunities for residents to give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of others.

Who Does What?

CARES Team
Commit to serving 70 hours per month (as a team)

Commit to serving for at least 18 months

Work within management's budget to plan and facilitate CARES activities

Apartment Life
Recruit, train and supervise the team

Provide monthly activity reports to management

Ensure program goals are being met

Management Team
Provide all activity expenses

Provide Apartment Life with a rent free standard 2/2 apartment for the team

Agree to pay Apartment Life a monthly fee of $495
